Build a Boat Team Building in Monterey
An idyllic city surrounded by beautiful beaches, Monterey creates a perfect destination for our Build a Boat program. With luxury hotels just steps away from lush, grassy parks and protected beaches such as San Carlos Beach, small teams collaborate to build a “sea worthy vessel.” The competition begins when all team members use innovation and strategic-thinking skills to determine how to best use the supplies provided. With only cardboard, duct tape and plastic, teams construct Viking ships, catamarans and kayaks that will withstand the Pacific Ocean waves or the choppy waters of your hotel pool. Cheers from team members buoy the captains as they try to safely guide their boat across the finish line before heading to a Fisherman’s Wharf restaurant for a final celebration of team work.
