Zoolutions

Zoolutions

At-a-Glance

Zoolutions is a half-day program (3.5 hours) working in teams of 4-5. Teams are outfitted with a backpack full of supplies and challenges to complete while exploring a zoo environment in order to better understand business initiatives critical to their organization.

The Facilitators’ Role

Prep

  • Review all pre-program communication.

Logistics

  • Releases: collect and review for skipped signatures, cross-outs and missing dates; communicate with lead facilitator as needed.
  • Supplies: distribute according to plan.
  • Photos: take pictures of teams throughout program as they explore the area and, most important and often forgotten, a final large group photo.

Facilitation

  • Lead facilitator understands selected theme and sets the tone through their introduction of the program.
  • Facilitators are strategically positioned to observe teams to evaluate their level of engagement.
  • Assist with managing team presentations during the finale, and taking notes.
  • Lead facilitator wraps up program by leading a large group debrief.

Clean-up

  • Pack supplies for return shipping.

Why Zoolutions Is Such a Great Program!

  • This team building adventure can be facilitated at nearly any city zoo.
  • Energizes groups as it is a fun, on-the-go, interactive team building program.
  • Replicates the process of collaborating, gathering and synthesizing information, working to a deadline and interpreting data.
  • Requires teams to organize and prioritize their efforts, allocate time and resources and think “outside the box.”
