The confluence of the American and Sacramento Rivers flows around the center of downtown Sacramento, home to several museums, vibrant nightlife and outdoor activities.

Featured Program

Explore Old Sacramento and beyond with GeoTrek

Our GeoTrek team building event blends technology and adventure while teams work to locate hidden caches and landmarks en route. Beginning the event in Old Town Sacramento adds to excitement as you are steps away from the Sacramento River and years away from the wild wild west. Your team of 4-5 uses a GPS unit, maps and clues to navigate past the Railroad Depot over to the rose garden at Capitol Park. Your strategy may be to head out to hidden caches further afield (and worth more points) or to traverse the path along the Sacramento river for a slower-paced adventure. On-the-go challenges tap unique problem-solving skills and encourage collaborative solutions. GeoTrek Sacramento evokes discovery of a different kind of intelligence, true out-of-the-box thinking, so relevant for cross-functional teams in ever-changing work environments.

Team Performance Challenges brings to life theories and models about team dynamics and role identification. The expansive lawns of Discovery Park provide a scenic backdrop to  the facilitator-led debriefs after each fun, interactive challenge. Our facilitators create an environment in which personal and team insights are shared and connections back to workplace issues are made. If your meeting involves professional development, blend our powerful Decision-making for Teams workshop which could be held at the downtown Sheraton Grand Sacramento or the Lake Natoma Inn in Folsom.
